The Pawtique marketplace is operated by The Pawtique SRL, registered under CUI 54690619, CIF 33303418. You can reach us at contact@the-pawtique.com.

The Pawtique SRL acts as an online marketplace — an intermediary that hosts offers from independent partner sellers. It is not the seller of the products listed: each sale contract is concluded directly between you and the seller of the item, who is responsible for the product, its conformity, fulfilment, returns and warranty. The Pawtique SRL vets sellers before they can trade, provides the platform, the checkout and payment intermediation, and is your point of contact for issues with the platform itself.

About The Pawtique

The Pawtique is a demo online marketplace where independent pet businesses list food, toys and supplies. It exists to demonstrate marketplace functionality — it is not a real store, no real products are sold and no deliveries are made.

By creating an account or placing an order you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

Accounts

You need an account to order or sell. Keep your contact details accurate and your password secret; you are responsible for activity under your account. You can update your details or delete the account at any time from the account settings page.

Buying and selling

Products are offered by independent sellers who complete a company onboarding reviewed by our team. The sale contract is concluded between you and the seller of each item; The Pawtique provides the platform, checkout and customer account tooling.

Prices and payments

Prices are shown in lei (RON). Card payments are processed by the NETOPIA Payments gateway (or a built-in simulation in this demo); your card number never reaches our servers. An invoice is issued for every paid order and can be downloaded from your order history.

Order cancellation

Definitions: an order is “cancelled” when it is closed before the seller ships it — no products change hands and you are not charged (any amount already captured is refunded in full). Cancellation is distinct from a “return”, which applies after delivery and is covered by the returns section below.

Before payment: an order awaiting payment can simply be abandoned. It is cancelled automatically when the payment is declined or fails, and in any case 30 minutes after it was placed if the payment has not been completed — the reserved stock is released and any voucher use is restored. Nothing is charged for a cancelled unpaid order.

After payment: paid orders cannot be cancelled self-service from the site. If your order has not shipped yet, contact the seller through “Ask the seller a question” or write to contact@the-pawtique.com and we will arrange the cancellation and a full refund to the original payment method. Once an item has shipped, the 14-day right of withdrawal applies instead (see Returns and refunds).

Returns and refunds

You may request a return for any delivered item within 14 days of delivery, from your order history. The seller reviews the request and, once approved, the refund is issued to the original payment method.

Liability

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Because this is a demonstration project, data may be reset at any time and no availability or fitness for a particular purpose is promised.
